Maria and Elizabeth Brontë

... were the first two children of Patrick and Elizabeth Brontë, born in 1814 and 1815 respectively. They both attended Cowan Bridge School, a school for the daughters of clergymen. Cowan Bridge is a village near Kirkby Lonsdale, in Lancashire. Both Maria and Elizabeth died in 1825 of tuberculosis (aged 11 and 10), in the aftermath of a typhoid outbreak at the school.

Charlotte Brontë was born in 1816, Patrick Branwell in 1817, Emily in 1818, and Anne in 1820. Branwell and Emily both died in 1848, aged 31 and 30 respectively; Anne died in 1849, aged 29, and Charlotte in 1855, three weeks short of her 39th birthday.

Elizabeth Brontë was also the name of a character in Witchblade – an American comic book series that ran from 1995 to 2015. If you type 'Elizabeth Bronte' into Wikipedia's search field, it will redirect you to Witchblade – but it won't tell you any more about this character.
